The home address trap in CEIDG
Most people setting up a company provide their residential address as the place of business. This is a mistake that haunts them for years. PESEL in KRS – a real threat
The KRS Entrepreneurs Register goes a step further than CEIDG. Here, your PESEL is visible in every full copy that can be downloaded for free. Since July 12, 2024, we have observed a drastic increase in attempts to obtain loans using data from these documents. A thief only needs 38 seconds to obtain a complete set of information needed to create a fake customer profile in a bank.
We have specific paragraphs for this. Although PESEL must remain in the registry files, there are ways to limit access to certain source documents. Our team, now numbering 14 specialists, effectively blocks unauthorized access to scans of files in the S24 system. In 2023, we managed to secure the data of 94 board members of limited liability companies before it fell into the hands of data brokers.
How to remove traces from Google after changes in registers?
A change at the office is only half the success. Google remembers old data for many months, displaying it in the so-called cache.
